What is the difference between your waist bead strings?
We offer two distinct string options to fit your lifestyle and comfort preferences:
  • Clear Stretchy String (Stretch Magic): This is a high-quality, flexible string. It allows you to easily remove and put on your waist beads. Because it is elastic, it can stretch slightly over a long period of time (usually 6+ months) and may eventually require tightening.
  • Nylon String: This is a traditional, durable, and non-stretchy option. Once tied, nylon string cannot be removed unless your piece is customized with a lobster clasp or a screw-on clasp, or if you choose to cut it off.

 

What are the different closure options for the waist beads?
We offer three closure styles depending on how you plan to wear your waist beads:
  • Tie-On:
    • Nylon String: Once tied, these are permanent and must be cut off to be removed.
    • Stretchy String: Once tied, you can easily remove the waist beads by sliding them up or down over your body.
  • Lobster Clasp: A classic, secure jewelry clasp that allows you to easily take the waist beads on and off whenever you like.
  • Screw-On Clasp: A sleek barrel closure where the two ends screw together, offering a highly secure but easily removable option.
